Jeremiah continues to go to preschool for 2 hours on Tuesday and Friday. He LOVES it! When I asked him what his favorite part of preschool was, he said "having snack and coloring."
The boys continue to grow and grow. Ten months ago when I brought them home Jeremiah was wearing size 2 and 3 pants. He is now in 4 and 5s, slender. Simon was primarily in 3s when he came home and he is now in 4 pants and 4 and 5 shirts. Next month they will have to get an immunization again so at that time I'll have them measured to see how much they've grown since last September. It seems like they have grown a foot, but I doubt that is really true. :-)
Probably the biggest excitement over the last 2 months was Christmas. We had a nativity calendar and the boys liked doing. On Christmas morning, the boys actually slept until about 8:30 (if I remember right). Since this was their first Christmas, they didn't really know what to expect. We had a great time opening presents and just spending the day together.
The boys have also gotten to see a "true" Nebraska winter with lots of snow and MUCH colder temperatures. We had been getting spoiled because it was so nice most of January that I was able to take all the boys outside to play! That was a blessing because they could be as loud as they wanted and outdoor play wears them out so they take good naps. :-)
When it did snow, Garth and I took them sledding, they had snowball fights, and Jeremiah even experienced the danger of ice. Thankfully he wasn't hurt very badly.
One weekend, I had a Pampered Chef Spring Launch all day Saturday so Daddy took the boys to the Strategic Air Museum where they got to see all the neat planes and they ALSO got to have their faces painted. The boys loved their faces. By the time I saw them they were somewhat smudged, but thankfully Garth had taken some pictures before that happened. They had a great time having Daddy-Son day.
The last thing to mention is that Jeremiah lost his first tooth recently. He had told us it was loose about 2-3 weeks earlier and we kept encouraging him to wiggle it, but he didn't really like to. One day after rest time, he told me that it had fallen out. He was very excited about the prospect of getting money for it. When I asked him how much he thought it was worth, he said "$20?" He did NOT get that much. :-)
Enjoy the pictures!
